***COVID-19*** Closed our fishery operation

Dear all,

Well, what a change 24 hours makes….

Following yesterday’s government announcement we have now taken the decision to completely close our fishery operation for the time being.  Although largely solitary, fishing cannot be classified under the daily exercise rule for being outdoors and we do not want to contribute to the immense pressure currently falling on the NHS.

This change will be made effective immediately, so if you are currently on the bank and able to read this email then please start to pack up your things.  Rangers will be locking the anglers car park at Lake 32 and the anglers overflow car park at Neigh Bridge.

We’re hopeful that these new government measures will mean that the closure need only be in place for a matter of weeks and we can all get back to normal, but in the meantime please take care.

Kind regards,
