This part of the Thames is largely ignored and thus information is hard to come by. Generally it is better fished during the Autumn/Winter months so that there is some water present as during dry spells it does suffer from a lack of flow. Chub are the main target species but who knows as it is largely untapped. It is reported that good chub are sighted and sometimes caught. These are fish that move up into this area during the winter from lower down around Cricklade. This stretch is for members only.
